The Punjab Public Service Commission invites Online Application Forms from eligible Candidates for recruitment to the following posts in the office of Punjab Public Service Commission, Patiala

1. Name of the post : System Analyst
No. of post : 1
Essential Qualifications :
(a) Should possess M.E. or M.Tech. degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/ Computer Technology/ Information Technology or its equivalent with First Division from a recognized university or institution or have obtained minimum 60% marks in aggregate and have atleast two years experience in the relevant field of Computer Applications or Information Technology; or
(b) Should possess ‘C’ Level Computer Course Examination (Equivalent to M.Tech. Level) with First Division conducted by the DOEACC, Department of Information Technology Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India and who have at least two years experience in the relevant field of Computer Applications or Information Technology; or
(c) Should possess B.E. or B.Tech. degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/ Computer Technology or Information Technology or equivalent with First division from a recognized university or institution or have obtained minimum 60% marks in aggregate and have at least three years experience in the relevant field of Computer Applications or Information Technology;or
(d) Should possess ‘B’ Level Computer Course Examination (Equivalent to MCA Level) with First Division conducted by the DOEACC, Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Govt. of India and have at least three years experience in the relevant field of Computer Applications or Information Technology;or
(e) Should possess M.B.A. degree in Information Technology with First Division from a recognized University or Institution or have obtained minimum 60% marks in aggregate and have at least three years experience in the relevant field of Computer Applications or Information Technology.

2. Name of the post : Senior Assistant

Essential Qualifications :
(a) Should be Graduate from a recognized University or Institution; and
(b) Should possesses atleast one hundred and twenty hours course with hands and have an experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications from a Government recognized institution or a reputed firm, which is ISO-9001, certified; or
(c) Should possesses a Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ Level Certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) of Govt. of India

3. Name of the post : Accountant

Essential Qualifications :
(a) Should have passed Intermediate Examination of Institute of Chartered Accountants; and
(b) Should have passed Examination of Institute of cost and works and have an experience of working as Accountant for a minimum period of one year in a reputed firm or institution.

4. Name of the post : Senior Scale Stenographer

Essential Qualifications :
(a) Should possesses Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution;
(b) Should have qualified a test in Punjabi Stenography to be held by the Commission or by the appointing authority at such speed as may be specified by the Government from time to time;
(c) Should possesses atleast one hundred and twenty hours course with hands and experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications from a Government recognized institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO-9001, certified; or
(d) Should possesses a Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ Level Certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) of Govt. of India.

5. Name of the post : Programmer

Essential Qualifications :
(a) Should possess M.E./ M. Tech. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree or Computer Technology degree or Information Technology degree, Electronics degree with First division from a recognized university or Institution; or
(b) Should have passed ‘C’ Level Computer Course Examination (Equivalent to M. Tech. Level) conducted by the Department of Electronic and Accreditation of Computer courses, Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Govt. of India with atleast fifty five percent marks; or
(c) Should possess B.E. / B. Tech. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree Computer Technology degree or Information Technology degree Electronics degree or its equivalent from a recognized university or Institution with atleast sixty percent marks in aggregate and have at least one year experience in the relevant field of Computer Applications or Information Technology; or
(d) Should have passed ‘B’ Level Computer Course Examination (Equivalent to MCA Level) conducted by the Department of Electronic and Accreditation of Computer Courses. Department of Information Technology, Govt. of India with first Division and have atleast one year experience in the relevant field of Computer Applications or Information Technology; or
(e) Should possess MBA (Information Technology) degree with First Division from a recognized university or Institution and have atleast one year experience in the relevant field of Computer Application or Information Technology.

6. Name of the post : Data Base Administrator

Essential Qualifications :
(a) Should possess B.E. or B. Tech. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology degree or Electronics and Communications degree with first division from a recognized university or institution and have atleast three years experience in database Administration or Oracle & SQL Server on UNIX or LINUX window based Server, or
(b) Should possess M.Sc. degree in Computer Science with First Division or MCA degree with First Division from a recognized University or Institution or ‘B’ or ‘C’ Level Course from Department of Electronics and Accreditation or Computer courses with First Division or M.Sc. Phy/ Math or Statistics and Post Graduation Diploma in Computer Application with First Division and have at least four years experience in database administration or Oracle & SQL Server on UNIX or LINUX window based Server. The candidate must have certification as database administrator in Oracle or OCP.

7. Name of the post : Net Work Engineer

Essential Qualifications :
(a) Should possess B.E. or B. Tech degree in Computer Science or Information Technology degree or Electronics and Communication degree with First Division from a recognized University or Institution and have at least two years experience in configuration & troubleshooting or network devices like routers, switches, firewall, modems, CISCO IDS, CISCO works, net work protocols like TCP or IP, Ethernet, security Protocols or interfaces, or
(b) Should possess M.Sc. degree in Computer Science with First Division or MCA degree with First Division from a recognized University or Institution ‘B’ or ‘C’ Level course from Department of Electronic and Accreditation of Computer courses with First Division or M.Sc. Phy. or Math or Statistics and Post Graduation diploma in Computer Application with First Division and have atleast three years experience in configuration and troubleshooting or network devices like routers, switches, firewall, modems, CISCO, IDS, CISCO works, network protocols like TCP or IP, Ethernet, Security Protocols or interfaces.

Age : Candidate should not be below 18 years and above 38 years of age on 1-1-2014.
