Candidates Shortlisted for the Interview
As the number of applications received for the 100 vacancies is more than 40000, ten times (slightly more in the case of Chartered Accountants)the required number of candidates have been shortlisted, on the basis of marks obtained by them in the qualifying examination, as informed earlier.

1. Dates of interview will be announced shortly. Separate call letters intimating the date, time and venue of the interview will be sent to the shortlisted candidates by email to their e-mail ID registered with the Bank. Shortlisted candidates, who do not receive the call letters within 24 hours of announcing the interview dates, may contact our recruitment cell in the e-mail ID careers@csb.co.in quoting their name and registration ID.
2. Candidates selected for appointment after the interview process, have to execute an agreement in Bank’s standard format, agreeing to serve the bank for a minimum period of five years( including period of probation), and in the event of leaving the Bank before expiry of the said period to pay an amount of Rs.2.00 lakh to the Bank.
3. All communications shall be sent through e-mail. Eligible candidates shall be intimated to go through the next stage of selections through e-mail shortly.
4. Bank shall not be responsible for any technical failure or non-checking of e-mail by the candidates.
5. In the event of the particulars furnished in the application being false / fabricated, the candidature of the applicant will be cancelled forthwith. No travelling expense will be paid for such candidates, even if they are called for the interview.
6. The decision of the Bank in all matters regarding eligibility, interview and selection will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Registration IDs of shortlisted candidates for the interview are given below.

CSB selected MBA students for marketing only. Its now cleared.
I got selected for the post of agriculture officer. But the major problem is that they are asking to submit all my certificates which simply means that I cant apply for any other govt.jobs like agriculture officer or ARS. Please suggest me whether to join or not ?
Have they specified any duration for which they will keep your certificates?
I got appointment letter for assistant manager(IT). But I have One month notice period in my previous company. Will the Catholic Syrian bank accept this?
I suggest you the following:
Talk with the company to reduce the notice period. Some companies demand compensating the notice period with your salary.
Some companies might forfeit that for good will.
If this does not work out, talk to the bank to see if the date of joining can be extended.
Take care not to come out of your previous company without completing formalities.
My son is finally selected as Probationary Assistant Manager IT and appointment letter received today. In appointment letter it is mentioned that ‘ the place of posing and date of joining will be at staff department, CSB Bhavan Thrissur and asked to report at 0900 hrs. Please anyone clarify that posting place Thrissur is final or any chance to change from Thrissur to Chennai.

Yes. In fact they told me about above mentioned condition during interview period. A bond of 5 year or 2 lakh along with submission of original certificates. I rejected their offer there only. Any way IBPS specialist officers form is out and I am looking for it.
That’s why I didn’t joined it (last year) even after getting selected, as they were asking for submission of all original documents. It simply means that, they will make you handicapped by taking your documents. Thereafter you can’t apply anywhere.

I have selected for IT officer Interview. Now I don’t have original certificates since am working. What can I do?
If you are sure that you need to submit original certificates at the time of interview means you can contact to recruitment cell and you can get clarified.
You need to submit original certificates permanently at the time of joining (not interview) and have to sign a bond of Rs. 2 lakh or minimum 5 years of service.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been short listed for the cost accounts officer and I got the mail regarding the interview. But I lost my application which is required to be submitted at the time of interview. Now I am not having any application copy. Am I eligible to attend the interview with rest of the documents to be submitted i.e.(all qualifications certificates form X to ICWAI and Identity prof)?
Are you sure the application copy has to be submitted at the time of interview?
If yes, you have only one choice. Contact the office of the Catholic Syrian Bank through e-mail / telephone.
It was mentioned that the application print out submission is necessary during the interview. so its better if u make sure before two days from the officials for a duplicate one.
