1. Administrative Officer – Chairperson’s Office

Qualifications: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in communication and related areas.
Experience: 10 – 15 years of relevant experience in similar positions.

Job Description:
**Prepare and send responses to communications received by the Chairperson;
**Support the preparation of presentations, speeches, messages, quotes and other communications for the Chairperson;
**Support the preparation of school wide presentations and communications;
**Prepare various media related communications including interviews, press articles and press releases;
**Support the preparation of various reports that are required to be submitted to external constituents;
**Support and coordinate the preparation of content for various school publications such as School Brochure, School Diary, School Policies, Job Descriptions, Insignia, Staff Handbook, School Website and so on;
**Facilitate the preparation of documents for accreditation with reputable educational agencies, survey reports for various publications, affiliation with Education Boards and their renewal;
**Coordinate and support development, implementation and review of school wide systems, processes and policies, and also play a system integrator support role;
**Support any initiative that will help IT integration of various academic and administrative systems and processes;
**Coordinate and support the record management system in the Chairperson’s office and ensure their easy retrieval with an effective indexing system;
**Extend administrative and coordination support with respect to school events such as Annual Day, Graduation Ceremony, DAIMUN, Conferences, Workshops, and so on;
**Support in project planning and implementation with respect to new projects and initiatives of the school including the new DAIS campus project;
**Support and coordinate the preparation of submission of documents and reports related to regulatory compliances and statutory requirements, in consultation with the Heads and all concerned administrative functionaries in the school;
**Ensure effective archiving of documents, related to the Chairperson’s Office; Collate details of ICSE, IGCSE, IBDP Results and University placements and support and coordinate annual results letters to be sent by the Chairperson;
**Source and compile photographs of various school events for the purpose of presentations, reports, articles, etc.;
Such other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

2. Primary Learning Support Teacher

Qualifications: Bachelors / Masters’ Degree in the subject. B.El.Ed./ B.Ed./ D.Ed. preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching/relevant experience is a pre-requisite for this position.

Job Description:
The responsibilities of the SEN teacher include, but are not limited to the following:
**Ensuring that s/he is familiar with the school’s mission and objectives and is aware of all aspects of the school’s SEN policy and philosophy;
**Ensuring that s/he observes the highest ethical standards in her/his dealings with students and parents, maintaining appropriate confidentiality, in line with school policy;Attending and participating in regular departmental meetings, as per an approved schedule;
**Ensuring that s/he conveys realistic expectations of potential and future progress to teachers, parents and students;
**Ensuring that a weekly log of cases dealt with, is sent to the Head of Learning Support without delay;
**Conducting workshops for faculty members on identifying students who may be in need of specific academic support and in teaching strategies for supporting such students, as directed by the Head of Learning Support;Ensuring that the evaluation of any student referred to her/him takes place without delay;
**Providing immediate feedback to the Head of Learning Support on each evaluation, with concrete proposals for further action;
**Prepare documentation for submission to exam boards for concessions in examinations, in a timely manner;
**Advice the Programme Coordinators on the adequate medical certifications in conditions related to physical factors, for students applying for special concessions in examinations; Being a part of end-of-term meetings with the IGCSE and IB Diploma offices, to set short term and long term goals; with parents, teachers and students who are being supported by the SEN team;
**Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date database of students receiving SEN support; including details of any IEPs and academic support, and the progress that has been achieved in supporting the students;To implement an ongoing process of tracking and referring for reevaluating students’ special education needs, as the student moves between sections of the school;
**Ensuring that appropriate IEPs are prepared and followed for students identified with specific learning needs and that such IEPs allow the student to be assessed on a common platform along with her/his peers;
**Ensuring that class and /or subject teachers understand individual students’ IEPs and are given strategies to implement them;
