Provisional Result for Part-I (Objective) Examination :
Number of candidates considered for evaluation of Part-II (Descriptive) Examination is based on following criteria combined together:
1. Four times of the vacancy in respective Category / Sub-Category subject to availability of candidates in the concerned Category / Sub-Category and
2. Candidates who have obtained marks above ‘Zero’ in Part-I (Objective) Examination
Considering the above two criteria the West Bengal Staff Selection Commission has set a qualifying (cut off) marks separately for each Category / Sub-Category.
The final result will be based on combining marks of Part-I (Objective) and Part-II (Descriptive) Examination and a minimum qualifying marks for each Category / Sub-Category to be determined separately by the West Bengal Staff Selection Commission later. Candidates qualified for evaluation of Part-II (Descriptive) Examination will be able to view their marks after final publication of results.
Note: Candidates may bring any discrepancy, if detected pertaining to Result for Part-I (Objective) Examination, to the notice of the Commission by 7th March, 2014.

With due respect and humble submission that I, Sri Ganesh Ch. Das, Gen-Ex-Serviceman have been appeared in the WB SSC for LDA on 15.12.2013. My Roll No. is 150210497. While the result is out for Part-I paper, the internet website shown Invalid date of birth/Roll No. For this reason I have been reported to your office at Mayukh Bawan on 18.07.2014. Mrs K Neogi, employee of your office checked my result of part-I and informed me that I got 35.5% in the Part-I. She also advised me to submit a petition for examination of my Part-II papers. As per her advise I have been submitted a petition for examination of my Part-II papers. Further, on 23 Jul, 2014 I have also been an another application. But till date no response have been received my me. So, I therefore requested your kind honour that my part-II papers be examined at the earliest and intimate me the result of the same as early as possible please.

Sir ,
Part 2 consisted of 2 parts comprising 100 marks for 1 hour. Was it not tough for the candidates to take with? So far I have not sat for any exam where we had to face such a situation. I don’t know how the commission had managed to set such type of examination. Unfortunately most of the candidate have personally raised the same issue & most them could not attend the both parts because of the uneven distribution of time. On the other hand cases have been found where students were provided with wrong information even by the instructor. For example in Mathabhanga vivekananda vidyamandir centre we were informed that the Bengali part were for those of Bengali medium whereas the English part for those of students coming from English version. Though we were conscious of both parts but distribution of marks put us in consideration. So I earnestly request the commission to consider the issue before the publication of the final result. I have raised issue because I am one of the candidates who could attend the both part but unfortunately was confused by the examiners. I have qualified the part 1 but uncertain for the final result due to that blunder.
